Ginger garlic pak choi
Pak choi cooked quickly with ginger and garlic so the stalks stay juicy and the leaves silky.
Method
- 1
Wash pak choi thoroughly, especially near the base. Halve lengthways. Finely slice garlic and ginger.
- 2
Heat oil in a large frying pan or wok over high heat. Put pak choi cut-side down and cook for 2 minutes.
- 3
Turn, add garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute, then add 2 tbsp water and cover for 2 minutes.
- 4
Remove the lid, add soy sauce and toss for 30 seconds. Serve immediately.
Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in two batches if necessary.
Best fresh. Refrigerate leftovers for up to 2 days and reheat thoroughly.
Contains soya; most soy sauces also contain wheat/gluten. Check the label.
